Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
1. What We Collect
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Contact / "questions" form | Name, phone, email, company, trade, market | So we can follow up with you directly |
| Starting a paid trial | Email (from Stripe Checkout); billing details go straight to Stripe, never to us | To create your login and manage your subscription |
| Using the app | Your account email and a securely hashed password; a signed session cookie | To keep you logged in and gate access to paid content |
We do not use advertising trackers, ad pixels, or third-party analytics scripts on this site as of this writing. If that changes, we'll update this policy.
2. How Payment Works
All payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see, transmit, or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVC. We receive back a customer/subscription reference ID and the email you provided, which we use to activate your account.
3. How We Store Your Password
Passwords are never stored in plain text. We store a salted, one-way cryptographic hash (PBKDF2-SHA256) — even we cannot look up or recover your actual password. If you forget it, we issue you a new one.
4. Who We Share Data With
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Cloudflare — hosts this site and our data storage (Workers KV) and, as our infrastructure provider, may log standard technical request data (IP address, timestamps) for security and performance purposes.
- Telegram — when you submit the contact/questions form, its contents are relayed to our internal Telegram account so we can respond. This does not apply to paid-checkout signups, which go through Stripe/our own system instead.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
5. How Long We Keep Data
We keep your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If your subscription is cancelled or a payment ultimately fails, your login access is automatically revoked. Contact form submissions are kept for our own follow-up records.
6. Your Choices
- You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting josh.lanius@gmail.com.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time (see our Terms of Service).
7. Cookies
We use one functional cookie (rm_session) to keep you logged in. It's required for the paid app to work and contains only your email and an expiration time, cryptographically signed so it can't be tampered with — no tracking or advertising cookies are set.
8. Children
Radar Mountain is a business tool for trade contractors and is not directed at, or intended for use by, anyone under 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll post an update here with a new "last updated" date.
